The autobiography of a cock!

Our jovial, talkative rooster Rahim is eager to tell us his story. For a short film, that is natural. Rahim Murge Pe Mat Ro (Devashish Makhija, Rajat Nagpal) is a fast, witty short with a great voiceover. And there’s a message on animal welfare somewhere in there. A lesson in short filmmaking. (caution: scenes of animal cruelty). If you liked it, vote for it here

hey thanks kishore. those are kind words. though we didnt intend the message on animal cruelty, no matter how sub-textual. but i guess its arguable. 🙂

Agreed. But this is the tension that researchers and practitioners must necessarily maintain, else we might as well create an artistic fascism.

true. its the tension that keeps the interchange taut, terse and two-way. as you said, ‘agreed’.

And as we talk, the Xcorporation has taken down the excellent film from youtube!! I wonder what revenue losses would the company incur due to its airing on youtube. Talk about corporate fascism.
